Divided Community Tank

This community aquarium is divided to reduce the risk of the Betta on the right side attacking the dwarf Gourami, platy, or Ryukin goldfish on the left. It should be noted that goldfish, a temperate water fish, really should not be kept with these others who are all tropical. The temperature differences can cause problems. Also, this tank would probably look better if there were a background on the tank - which would also make the fish more comfortable.

"I just wanted to say that your page is AMAZING! I am always so indebted to people who take the time and effort to share this information so freely. Thank you! My 12 year old and I started our first tank yesterday and I could not be happier with the help that we got from your page. You made us a believer of Small and Frequent Water Changes! :)"

"Thank you very much for emailing me back. The information you gave me was very helpful. Thank you for setting me straight about the water changes. I haven't ever had a problem in two years with the water becoming toxic. However, now that I know it could be at this point or will become toxic I will be more careful. Thank you also for the information about the platies. Especially thank you for your time!!"
