(The First Tank Guide)

Divided Community Tank

This community aquarium is divided to reduce the risk of the Betta on the right side attacking the dwarf Gourami, platy, or Ryukin goldfish on the left. It should be noted that goldfish, a temperate water fish, really should not be kept with these others who are all tropical. The temperature differences can cause problems. Also, this tank would probably look better if there were a background on the tank - which would also make the fish more comfortable.

"First off, [the First Tank Guide] is very helpful. I have had a tank on and off since I was very young and the info in [the First Tank Guide covers] all the questions I was afraid to ask."
