Crowntail Betta

This male crowntail Betta, named King Betta, appears to be a blue Betta with red fins. The light coming through his tail as he displays for the camera is eye-catching, but the body color is obscured in shadow.

"UGH, I wish I'd found your site sooner. We had conducted extensive research, asking friends who had tanks, asking the pet store and watching numerous YouTube videos about starting a new aquarium. None of them clearly explained cycling or establishing the biofilter as your site has. If I hadn't found your site I would continued dutifully using the Ammonia reducer and adding fish then be wondering why they kept dying when I exceeded the ability of the tank to self-regulate. I wish more sites/YouTubers would explain this and so many fish could be saved."
