"I wish I had read your information about painted glass fish before I went shopping for fish at Petsmart in Murietta, California.
It has been a long time since I have kept tropical fish, and I had had glass fish before. I thought they had somehow bred them for these colors. I never imagined that they would have been dyed. I bought a pair.
The one fish died just a little more than two weeks after I got it... I will never, ever, buy any painted fish again."
