Links to Quality Fish Tank Sites from All Over

(The First Tank Guide)

Here are some of the sites online that have information about fish, aquariums, or other aspects of the aquarium hobby. These sites all met my meticulous criteria for being linked when they were initially added to the list, however, some of them may not have been checked out recently. I hold no responsibility for the content of these sites (other than The First Tank Guide), and only recommend them as places where you can find additional information on fish keeping. Remember to always check the qualifications of the author of any information you find on-line, and evaluate that information based on those qualifications.

If you find a bad link here, please let me know. Also, feel free to recommend your favorite fish and aquarium related site using the link at the bottom of the page.

ALWAYS under construction: The First Tank Guide, a guide to setting up a new fish tank. I hope to help to hinder headaches.

Fish and Aquarium Links (in alphabetical order)

Generally, to be listed here, the site needs to be primarily non-commercial (unless I'm really impressed), informative, usable, reasonably accurate, and not primarily an open forum. By the way, by stating that a site needs to be non-commercial to get listed here, what I mean is that the site needs to not be primarily a commercial site or online store. If your site is a commercial site, a business, an online store, a commercial site for a business, or otherwise primarily dedicated to making money or selling products or services rather than providing information to the public at no charge, please do not submit it to be linked. I review each site that is submitted, and do not link to commercial sites.

"Until we found your common sense approach to fish care, we were submitting them to ongoing jeopardy. Shortly after reading your web site, we emptied our existing tanks, put most of the chemicals in storage, and started from scratch. So far, so good, as the fish seem to be reveling in the change. Your guidelines provided for a new aquarium set up are right on the mark. It got to the point we just knew the information we were getting locally was wrong! We just didn't have the right ones to move forward!
Thank you very much for your free information as it would easily be worth the price of any book. We never could find one this good! We can we see you are very committed to this hobby. We are very thankful that you have taken the time to help other beginners."
