My Photos: Other People's Aquariums
(The First Tank Guide)
This peppered cory cat, most likely C. paleatus, is an interesting and entertaining addition to most tropical community tanks. Cory catfish like this usually do all right on their own, though they are a schooling fish.

"I just wanted to say that your page is AMAZING! I am always so indebted to people who take the time and effort to share this information so freely. Thank you! My 12 year old and I started our first tank yesterday and I could not be happier with the help that we got from your page. You made us a believer of Small and Frequent Water Changes! :)"

"I am disabled so I don't get out much. I've never had a pet before because I didn't think I could properly take care of one. How exciting to find out I was wrong! I've read just about everything on your website, but it was your emails that really made the difference. I felt like I wasn't doing this alone, and I have been sleeping much better because of it. Thank you for everything, and I hope you are rewarded, somehow, for the kindness you have shown me. Thank you."
